Children's choir“Gotta Get It” Young Choir This ministry was created for children, ages 5 to 12, to meet and sing each Sunday evening at 6:00 p.m. Yes it’s true, we meet to lift our voices in praise and we also meet as a close group to learn. There is so much to discover in the Bible, especially at this age. We learn through Biblical skits, music, hands-on activities, and more. We also enjoy our outings! In December, we went to see a group called Pure NRG. The children really enjoyed this group as they stayed on their feet most of the evening and then we all enjoyed pizza afterwards. We had some little songwriters to develop after seeing this concert. It is amazing to watch the children grow. Nursing Home Visit at Christmas'08
In February, we went on a mystery outing. This was so much fun to try to figure out where we were going. No one in the group knew until we arrived at the designated place. We met at church that evening for a fun-filled devotion before we left on the bus and the children still did not know where they were going. We ended up at Mrs. Debbie’s home, where we played rock band, kickball, basketball, and played on the trampoline. The girls did nails, the boys and girls did tattoos, and we ended the evening with sparklers. The children had their very own photo shoot and ended up on the cover of their favorite magazine. We had fellowship, togetherness and sooooo much fun. We can’t wait to do this again! We invite children within this age group to come and take part
each Sunday evening. It’s a blast! You never
