Emmanuel baptist after school care program

Billings

The program is financially self-supportive through fees collected from parents of each child enrolled.

1. A $25.00 non-refundable annual registration fee is collected from the parent of each child at the time of registration. For families with 2 or more children, a family registration fee of $30.00 yearly will apply.

2. Fees are to be paid in advance.

3. Once a child is enrolled in the After School program, the full weekly fee is to be paid for each day the program is in operation, including Teacher Workdays, whether your child is in attendance or not.

4. Weekly fees are dur on Monday for the coming week. There is payment drop box at the entrance. Please put your child's name on the check or put cash in an envelope.

5. Please include your child/childrens name and date/s the payment covers on all checks. In advance, parents can make payments weekly, bi-monthly, or monthly (if arrangements have been made). Checks are to be made payable to Emmanuel Baptist Church.

6. A $20.00 NSF check charge will be charged on all returned checks. After two NSF check charges, the parents will be on a cash only basis for the remainder of the school year.

A late fee will be charged on a daily basis to parents picking up children after 6:00 p.m. Last fees will be enforced this year. Excessive late pick-up will result in a child being dropeed from the program.

Enrollment

Enrollment is limited to the available slots and is restricted to regular users. Children must enroll on a full-time basis. A child is enrolled in the program when:

1. The parents are notified that there is a slot available in the child's age group.

2. An application form with a $25.00 registration fee, discipline policy form, inclement weather form, and an insurance form are completed and returned to the site director.

3. Your account is paid in full (if you are a previous client).

Inclement Weather

Listed below are the guidelines that will be followed in the event of hazardous weather conditions:

- If an early morning announcement is made over the local radio station (WSOC 103.7) to the effect that schools will be closed for the day because of hazardous weather conditions, the After School Program will be CLOSED.
- If, prior to the end of a regular school day, schools are closed and children are sent home because of impending hazardous weather conditions, the After School Program will be cancelled as well.
- If, on a regular school day, the weather conditions begin to become hazardous during the afternoon between 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., the parents should pick up their children as early as possible. Under such conditions, the site director will attempt to call parents who have not arrived to pick up their children.
- Parents should make arrangements to pick up their child at school is school closes early.

Illnesses

If a child has symptoms of illness or signs of communicable disease, he/she will be isolated from the other children while the parents are contacted to pick him/her immediately.

Medication Administration

Should it be necessary for your child to receive medication at the After School Care Program, the procedure below should be followed:

1. The parent must complete the Medication Administration Consent Form.

2. Medicine must be brought in the original container.

3. The child's name must be on the container.

4. The parent must provide clear written directions for administration of medication.

Safety

Parents should contact the program if a child will not attend the After School Care Program on a regular scheduled day. Please contact either the site director or leave a message with the church office prior to After School Care hours.

SignIn/SignOut Procedures for Parents

Parents must sign out with the date and time of their child each day. On workdays and summer day camps, parents are required to sign their child in.

Pick up authorizations designated by the parent/guardian on the application are the only people allowed to pick up a child. If a child is to be released to anyone other than the person/s listed, the site director must be notified. I.D. may be required is someone unfamiliar to the After School Care staff arrives for your child.
