Emmanuel is a church-sponsored Christian program and does acknowledge and respect the different religions and cultures represented in the program. The purpose of Emmanuel Baptist Preschool and Childcare Ministries is to convey God's love as it is revealed to us through Jesus Christ to young children. We provide an environment that encourages each child's developmental growth spiritually, physically, mentally, socially, and emotionally. this is accomplished through a program of Christian nurture which is implemented by a staff that views all people - children, youth, and adults - as being created by God and worthy of receiving God's love.

The preschool child is enabled to reach his/her fullest potential when they are offered opportunities through which they are able to experience being understood and loved. The preschool curriculum offers opportunities for children to see themselves as persons of worth who can make choices, become stewards of God's creation, create, solve problems, get along and care about others.

To encourage social development by providing opportunities for sharing, taking turns, making friends, resolving conflicts, helping others, recognizing and accepting others, cooperating on projects, and building self-esteem.

It is our desire to see your child grow physically, spiritually, and emotionally. It delights our hearts to see a happy, confident preschooler leave our program ready and eager to learn more in kindergarten. These are such informative years in your child's life, and we count it both a privilege and a joy to share in helping to lay a solid foundation that your child can continue to build upon.

"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6
